Individual Yoga Therapy

For centuries, Yoga has been taught one-on-one in private settings where your individual needs can be addressed. Without the distraction of competition, an individually-paced breathing, movement and relaxation session allows you to progress effectively at your own pace. Mental, spiritual and emotional issues are explored and resolved as they arise so that you may experience deep healing at all levels. Yoga is recommended by many doctors and health-care professionals. Blue Heron Yoga is now providing for Sedgwick, State Farm, Country Insurance and Pinnacol among others. Call for more information about your insurance plan and if Yoga is covered.

Group Yoga Classes

In a group class, Yoga is taught by linking your breath with both moving and still posture to cultivate ease in your body, balance and flexibility. Breathing is taught both with poses and by itself to enhance concentration and to induce relaxation and tranquility. In group classes, you are given periods of time to explore at your own pace. Whether you are just beginning or more experienced, Blue Heron classes will encourage you to explore your own edge, and progress steadily with loving guidance.

Please note that Dea's Very Gentle Yoga is tailored for persons suffering from arthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, persons recovering from injuries or illness, and senior citizens.
