Group Yoga Classes
The Blue Heron Yoga studio is an intimate space suitable for small classes. Maximum class size is 7. Wear comfortable loose fitting clothing or exercise wear. Please do not eat a heavy meal directly before class. Water is god to have with you.
In a group class, Yoga is taught by linking your breath with both moving and still postures to cultivate ease in your body, balance and flexibility. Breathing is taught both with poses and by itself to enhance concentration and to induce relaxation and tranquility. In group classes, you are given periods of time to move at your own pace. Whether you are just beginning or more experienced, Blue Heron classes will encourage you to explore your own edge, and progress steadily with loving guidance.
